About Us!

United by their love of Campbell University and the ROTC program that brought them together, from L-R, Bryan, Chris and Brett have remained life long friends. They administer, coordinate and fund-raise for CCASF in their off time.

SLI Description

Description of the SLI from the Army's Institute of Heraldry:

A Silver color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall consisting of shield blazoned: Sable, bearing an Argent open book detailed black in perspective surmounted by six stylized pine trees Vert charged by a wavy fess Tenné. Attached below the shield, a Black scroll inscribed "CAMPBELL UNIVERSITY" in Silver Gray letters.

Description of the SSI from the Army's Institute of Heraldry:

Description/Blazon
On a black shield shaped device edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) white border, issuing from base a stylized orange torch enflamed surmounted by a white beveled star. Attached above the shield, a black scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) white border inscribed "CAMPBELL" in white letters.

Symbolism
Black, white and orange are the school colors. The torch enflamed with its stem a series of steps surmounted by a beveled star refers to the motto of the college "To the Stars through Difficulties."
